I was busy making lots of new badges this weekend, including a monkey design, when my husband suddenly asked for a version of the monkey in blue and grey. I set to work thinking it sounded a bit odd but the finished monkey looks great.
I have also made an elephant, a cat, a basset, and some brown monkeys. They are all available online from The Granny Square.
On Saturday I helped Amy with the Berylune stall at the Save the Children Spring Craft Fair in Leamington Spa. It was pretty quiet but the stall looked very pretty. Some of my badges were for sale which was exciting for me!
Amy and I both love arranging things in rainbow order and often don’t realise we are doing it. It was very nice to see some impressive real rainbows for a change.
I have some more new badges in my shop, this time they are cloud shaped. I had lots of fun making these and have received many compliments on the one I have been wearing.
There are three different designs, one with a sun, one with a lightning bolt, and one with rain drops.
I have designed and made a range of bird shaped felt badges that are now available in my online shop. These birds are available in two shapes, one with a coloured tummy and the other a coloured wing.
I have also added a robin to my range of woodland animal brooches.
I have been busy working on lots of new badges to sell in The Granny Square which is why it has been very quiet on my blog and in the online shop. I am pleased to be able to show you the first of my new designs, two different dogs. There is a greyhound with a red collar and a pug.
