I knitted a jumper! I used a relatively straight forward 1970s pattern and Stylecraft Special DK. Here are some silly pictures of me wearing the jumper.
I was busy making lots of new badges this weekend, including a monkey design, when my husband suddenly asked for a version of the monkey in blue and grey. I set to work thinking it sounded a bit odd but the finished monkey looks great.
I have also made an elephant, a cat, a basset, and some brown monkeys. They are all available online from The Granny Square.
On Saturday I helped Amy with the Berylune stall at the Save the Children Spring Craft Fair in Leamington Spa. It was pretty quiet but the stall looked very pretty. Some of my badges were for sale which was exciting for me!
Amy and I both love arranging things in rainbow order and often don’t realise we are doing it. It was very nice to see some impressive real rainbows for a change.
I have some lovely new business cards that will also be used to mount my brooches. Thanks to Emily at Berylune who helped me with them. I am really pleased with how well the granny square blanket picture works.
